About Exam:- Calcutta High Court had invited Application from the eligible Candidates. Now the Calcutta High Court will organize the written Exam for the various post. Exam Pattern:-  The Exam Pattern and the Selection Process are different. Because this Exam is being conducted for the various level Post. Here we are providing Exam pattern for the Lower Division Clerk Post. For more information the of other Post’s Exam Patter please read the official advertisement available on the Calcutta High Court website.

1.       The examination(Objective) for the post of Lower Division Clerk shall consist of  Part I & Part II.

2.      The Part I will carry 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 mark each. Comprising multiple choice objective type questions on English, General Studies and Arithmetic.

3.      The duration of Part I examination shall be of 1:30 hours. The Part II Examination comprising two Groups of conventional type question on English ( Group A ) and Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali ( Group B ) carrying 50 marks each for Group A & Group B.

4.      Only the successful candidates of Part I examination who will qualify, the qualifying marks for which will be fixed by this Authority, shall be called for Part II Examination.
