IOF Chargeman Exam Pattern/ Syllabus
Indian Ordnance Factory (IOF) is government authorized body for Production of State of the Art Battle Field Equipments. Indian Ordnance Factory is fully responsible for conducting written exam for the post of Chargeman. Exam Pattern of Indian Ordnance factory Chargeman written exam pattern & exam syllabus is discussed here:
Exam Pattern:- The syllabus for the written examination will be in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple answers. Questions will include a few questions on aptitude.
– For Technical Posts:- There will be a written exam of 200 Marks for Technical Posts.
(i) For Trades Mechanical, Information Technology, Electrical, Civil, Automobile, Electronics:-

Exam Syllabus in Detail:-
For Technical Post:–
General Awareness:- Questions in this part will be asked from Business Knowledge & Current Events happening Around.
Computer Application:- Questions will be asked from the Computer organization, System Software & all questions will be of O Level.
General Engineering:- Questions will be form of combine from every branch & focus will be mainly on Engineering Drawing.
Engineering Trade Syllabus:- Questions will be asked from Trade from which candidates have done their Diploma & Subjects studied at Diploma Level.
For Non Technical Post:-
Numerical Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie, Chart.
Reasoning:- Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
Basic English:- Questions will be asked from Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction fill in the blanks, Misspell word , One word Substitution, Active & Passive Voice, Preposition etc.
