PNRD Assam Exam Syllabus 2014

Panchayat & Rural Development, Govt. of Assam will conduct a Written exam named for recruitment of Junior Engineer, Panchayat Sahayak and Panchayat Development Officer. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of these posts Exam conducting by PNRD Assam.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Jr. Engineer, Panchayat Sahayak/Development Officer is as Follows:-

► Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
► Question Paper will be 150 marks.
► The questions will be on the following subjects :
i. General Aptitude
ii. General Knowledge.
iii. Numerical Aptitude.
iv. Computer Skills.
v. General English

► Oral interview for Panchayat Development Officer only which will be of 20 marks.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for these posts is as Follows :-

General Aptitude : Focus on Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions,  arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

General Knowledge : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. Questions will also be  included towards a scientist sight and thinking which expected from an educated person. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and its adjacent countries too. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.

Numerical Aptitude : The standard of questions on Arithmetic will be equivalent to that of Secondary Education. Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

Computer Skills : MS-Word, MS- Excel, MS- Access, MS- Power Point and Internet.

General English : Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
