UPSC IES/ISS Exam Syllabus 2016

Union Public Service Commission organizes an exam for  Indian Economic Service & Indian Statistical Service. UPSC will hold Indian Economic/ Statistical Service Exam 2016 from 13 to 15 May, 2016. Information about Exam pattern and Exam syllabus is given here-

For Indian Economic Service:-

Paper-VI	Indian Economics	200 Marks	3 Hours

For Indian Statistical  Service:-

Candidates who qualifies the written exam will be called for Interview for Personality Test.Interview will be of 200 Marks.

Exam Syllabus:-

General English: It will be test of English comprehension. Candidates will be required to write an essay in English. Passages will usually be set for  summary or Precise.

General Knowledge: Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc.
