BSF invited from male and female Indian citizens for appointment on combatised posts of Assistant Sub inspector (Stenographer) and head constable (ministerial). The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.

Age Limit : Age limit of the candidates is Between 18 years to 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Schedule Tribes and five years for Govt Servants. Also relaxable for ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Shorthand @80 words per minute in English Or Hindi for 10 minutes. Transcription or dictation in English in 50 minutes on computer Or transcription of dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on computer. |
| Head Constable (Ministerial) | Intermediate or senior secondary school certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized board or university or equivalent. Typing @35 words |
Application Fee : Each application should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order for Rs 100/– as examination fee in favour of authority to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ Post Office. SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen and Departmental (BSF) candidates are not required to submit application fee.
How to Apply : Interested candidates may submit their application in the prescribed application format available on BSF website through proper channel/their employer along self attested copy of matriculation certificates as a proof of age and self attested copies of educational certificates documents.
