The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Authorized Agency) announced holding of State Eligibility Test SET-2014 vide Advertisement No. 4/2014 in the month of March/April 2015 (Sunday) for determining the Eligibility for recruitment to the post(s) of Assistant Professor(s) in universities and colleges located within the State of Himachal Pradesh. The test will be conducted in 19 subjects as Chemical Sciences, English, Life Sciences, Commerce, Economics, Geography, Hindi, History, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Physical Sciences, Physical Education, Sociology, Sanskrit, Political Science, Public Administration, Computer Applications, Tourism Administration & Management and Journalism & Mass Communicationat various examination centres located at i.e. Shimla, Solan, Mandi and Dharamshala.
Date & Time of Exam :- 19th July, 2015 (SUNDAY)
Admit Card :- Candidates who applied for this eligibility test must have a valid admit card to enter in prescribed exam centres. Himachal Pradesh PSC will make available to download the admit card on its website some days prior to exam date.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Assistant Professor State Eligibility Test is as Follows:-
► Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
► The test will consist of three papers.
► There will be no negative marking.
► All the three papers will be held on one day in two separate sessions as under :
