Applications are invited by Indian Air Force from Male and Female from Indian Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in July 2016 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent / Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.

TECHNICAL BRANCH
(a) No. 199/16T/PC/M (Permanent Commission for men)
(b) No. 199/16T/SSC/M (Short Service Commission for men)
(c) No. 199/16T/SSC/W (Short Service Commission for women)

GROUND DUTY BRANCHES
(a) No. 199/16G/PC/M (Permanent Commission for men)
(b) No. 199/16G/SSC/M (Short Service Commission for men)
(c) No. 199/16G/SSC/W (Short Service Commission for women)

Age Limit : 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2016 i.e. Born between 02 July 1992 to 01 July 1996 (Both Dates inclusive).(Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA(India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. Born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1996 (Both dates inclusive).

Pay and Allowances :- Flying Officers will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band of Rs.15,600 – 39,100 per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, Transport Allowance.
