High Court of Karnataka (Karnataka Judiciary) had invited applications for recruitment to 116 posts under Residual Parent Cadre and 08 posts under Local Cadre of Civil Judge. A Preliminary written exam will be conducted by High Court in the month of May, 2016.

Candidates who applied for this Competitive Exam should download their E-admit Card or Hall Ticket to enter in prescribed Exam Centre of this written exam conducting by Karnataka High Court. No Admit Card or Hall Ticket will reach home of Candidates by post, it can only be download in upcoming dates before exam.
Scheme & Syllabus of Civil Judge Main Written Exam
The Preliminary Examination shall be conducted by way of Objective Type Question Paper consisting of 100 marks and the syllabi for the said examination shall be the following, namely:
Part-A
Code of Civil Procedure, 1908;
Negotiable Instruments Act, 1981;
Transfer of Property Act, 1882;
Indian Contract Act, 1872;
Specific Relief Act, 1963;
Indian Constitution; and
Karnataka Rent Act, 1999.
Part-B
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973;
Indian Penal Code, 1860; and
Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
Part-C
General knowledge – Test of reasoning and mental ability.
