CG Vyapam Exam Syllabus 2015
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board also named as CG Vyapam will conduct a Written examination for recruitment to the posts of Sub Engineer (Civil) and Sub-Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) in PWD and NRDA. Those applied candidates who are ignoramus about the scheme/pattern and syllabi of this written exam and worry about their preparations. They may get the latest prescribed exam pattern and syllabus for the exam of SEN15 from here.
Exam Pattern : Scheme of Exam for Sub-Engineer Exam 2015 is as Follows :-
► Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
► There will be a paper containing 150 questions of 150 marks.
► The time duration will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).
► There will also be negative marking of ¼ mark for every wrong answer.

SEN15 Sub Engineer (Civil)
(1)SURVEYING:-
Introduction, chain surveying, compass surveying, leveling & contouring, plane table surveying, leveling, thedolite survey, tachometric survey, trignometrical survey, minor instruments, setting out curves, modern methods of surveying.
(2)MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY
Introduction, stone and aggregate, clay products, binding materials, timber, flooring material, roofing material, steel and aluminum products, plastics, miscellaneous, market survey.
(3)CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAWING
Introduction, building bye laws, principles of planning, details of building & drawing, doors & windows, stair cases, pitched roofs including roof trusses, box & pipe culverts, modification of existing building.
(4)BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Introduction, foundation, masonry, concreting, door and windows, stairs, roof trusses, floors, finishing, site clearance & scaffolding, machinery & equipment, safety & environmental   aspects, precast construction.
(5)PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEER
Introduction, quantity of water, sources of water, quality of water, pumps, pipe and pipe special, intake, water treatment process, distribution system, system of sanitation and sewerage, sewer laying, waste water collection system, quantity of sewage, characteristics of sewage, sewage treatment processes, house water supply and sanitation, rural sanitation.
(6)MECHANICS OF STRUCTURE
Introduction, simple stress and strain, compound stress and strains, bending moment and shear force, stresses in beams due to bending, stresses in beams due to shear, slope and deflection of beams, fixed beams column.
(7)CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY
Introduction, type of cement, testing of cement, aggregates and their testing, fresh concrete, strength of concrete, concrete mix design.
(8)HIGHWAY ENGINEERING
Introduction, investigation & planning of new roads, road geometric, pavement design, materials and construction, drainage of roads, traffic engineering, arboriculture, road maintenance.
(9)QUANTITY SURVEYING & COSTING
Introduction, stage-ior approximate estimate, taking out quantities, use of schedule of rates, analysis of rates, detailed estimate of building, earthwork estimate, estimate of timber structure, estimate of R.C.C. structure, estimate of steel structure, estimate of culverts and bridge, estimate of water supply and sanitary fitting, valuation.
(10)STRUCTURALDESIGN & DRAFTING
Introduction, introduction of ISM, limit state of collapse ‘flexure’, limit state of collapse ‘shear’, development length and anchorage length, limit state of service ability, is provision for design consideration, design of slabs, design of beams, design of staircase, columns, columns footings, introduction of working stress methods, introduction of pre stress methods of design, introduction, riveted and welded joint, beams, tension member, compression  member, column bases and column footing, roof truss, analysis of continuous beams.
