After Getting Instructions from High Level DGP has sent New Rulebook to the State Government. As it is stated by Government earlier that Recruitment Process will be simplified.So Selection Process can be as follows :

• Merit List will be Prepared based on Marks of 10th & 12th.
• Candidates have to take Part in Running of 5 Kilometers.
• Marks allotted for Running is 100.
• Running may conduct District wise & then Candidates will be selected based on the Marks provided in Merit.

Age Limit for Constable : The Age of Candidate Should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 22 Years….

For Male Candidates :
For General– 18 to 22 Years.
For OBC– 18 to 27 Years
For SC– 18 to 27 Years.

Latest News :- State Government of UP is now going to make the new year even more delightful by approved the recruitment for 40000 or more posts of Constable in the Home Department. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh gave instructions regarding Recruitment in New This Year 2015- 2016.

After Brainstorm it is approved by the principal secretary of home department. He said that recruitment process of 40000 more constable will commence soon. For which, direction has been given to Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Advertisement Notification will beadvertise soon by the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

One Lakh Vacant Posts in UP Police : There are more than 1 Lakh vacant posts of Constable in UP Police Department. CM Akhilesh Yadav gives instruction in high-level meeting to provide job opportunities in the new year. After that, DGP Headquarter sent a proposal that forty thousand more recruitment in return of vacant posts to Home Department.

► It is well know that Recruitment Process of 41,610 constables was ended up on 14 December, 2014. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will reveal soon the result of this recruitment on the basis of written test and Physical Test.

► After Result Declaration, new recruitment process of 40,000 constable will commence from the month of  December, 2015.

As per the information from sources, The advertisements will publish soon in the newspaper by the Recruitment board for this recruitment. Indeed, nearly ten thousand police constable retire every year. So, there is a great need of Constable and Sub-Inspector in the UP Police Department for establishment of new control rooms, traffic and highway police.
