Balkrishna Industries, which is a holding company of Balkrishna Tires, Balkrishna Paper Mills and Balkrishna Synthetic, was incorporated on November 20,1961. It is part of the Siyaram Poddar group, which has a turnover of over USD 250 million, which operates in four business segments. The company operates mainly in the business segment of tires. It focuses on the production of a range of off-highway tires that includes agricultural, industry, material handling, forestry, lawn and garden, construction and earth moving tires. Over 95% of the tire production is exported under the BKT brand, with the main export markets being countries in Western Europe, North America and Australasia including original equipment manufacturers.

It has in production over 1,700 stock keeping units. In FY07, the production capacity was increased to 48,000 TPA at the Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) plant, 30,000 TPA at the Chopanki (Rajasthan) mixing plant, and to 22,000 TPA at the Waluj (Maharashtra) plant.

Job Description

• The Incumbent will be In-charge of in-process & finished product quality as per customer satisfaction and implement quality systems in place.
• Will be responsible for overall quality control plan so as to ensure in-process quality control & finished product quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for implementing ISO 9001, ISO14001 quality systems.
• To maintain BIS certification & handle OEM customer requirements.

Qualification : Diploma or BE – Mechanical or 1st class Graduate in Science, Post Graduation in Science (Physics/ Maths)
Experience : 15-20 years

Job Description

• Responsible for Engineering function for the entire plant.
• Will have to lead Mechanical, Utility, EEI, Civil and Project Teams to achieve plant performance parameters.
• The incumbent will ensure both preventive and predictive maintenance of all equipment’s and other installations.
• Will be responsible for Energy Conservation, Equipment’s, Materials and other Plant O&M requirements.
• Will be responsible for spare parts management, standardization, proper review, control implementation and documentation of all equipment’s.
