DPAR Puducherry Exam Syllabus 2015

Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), Government of Puducherry will conduct a written examination for the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC). Candidates can getsyllabus and exam pattern for this post from hereunder.

Exam Pattern :-

► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be a composite paper carrying 100 questions.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► Negative mark of 0.25 will be awarded for every wrong answer and multiple answers will be treated as a wrong answer.

Exam Syllabus :-

General Mathematics : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart and Data Interpretation etc.

General Science : These tests are designed to test the knowledge and competencies for scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and physics, chemistry, life sciences (Biology), the earth/space sciences, technologies etc.

General English : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.

General Awareness : Indian History and Geography, Indian Economics, Constitution of India, General Knowledge and Current affairs.
