RRB Exam Syllabus 2015 for CEN 02/2015
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is going to recruit Person with Disabilities (PWDs) to the post of Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial Clerk and Ticket Examiner in all regional RRBs against Centralized Employment Notice no. 02/2015.
Selection Process – The recruitment process for the posts will have a written/online examination followed by qualifying skill test i.e. typing test for posts of Jr. Clerk-cum-Typist & Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist and verification of original documents. RRBs, at their discretion, may decide to hold exam only online or offline. Selection is made strictly according to merit on the basis of written/online examinations.
Exam Pattern :- RRB Exam Pattern for written exam is as follows :
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► The standard of questions for the written/online examination will be generally in conformity with the education standards prescribed for the posts.
► The question paper will have approximately 100 questions.
► There shall be negative marking. 1/3 of marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Exam Syllabus :- RRB Syllabus for various post is given below :
General Awareness : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. Questions will also be included towards a scientist sight and thinking which expected from an educated person. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and its adjacent countries too. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.
Arithmetic : The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
General Intelligence & Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
General Science : These tests are designed to test the knowledge and competencies for scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and physics, chemistry, life sciences (Biology), the earth/space sciences, technologies etc.
