West Bengal Staff Selection Commission is fully governmental recruiting body in West Bengal for recruitment. West Bengal SSC select persons for direct recruitment the posts and services in the State Govt. establishments under Gr. B and Gr. C categories, to hold Departmental examinations for promotion to the categories of posts under Gr. B and Gr. C & to hold periodical Typing Test in English and Bengali on computer.
West Bengal SSC conducted written exam for recruitment of Sub – Inspector in the Sub-ordinate Food & Supplies Service post on 27.07.2014 (Sunday) for 1131 vacancies at various centers in West Bengal. Many candidates participate in this exam all over West Bengal.
