Important Note:- The overall co-ordination and responsibility of conducting GATE 2017 lies with in Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee which is designated as the Organizing Institute (OI) for GATE 2017. GATE 2017 Exam is conducted Online & Commence from 4-5 & 11-12 February (Saturday & Sunday only) in Forenoon session & afternoon session.
DATES OF GATE 2017 EXAM :- 04, 05 & 11, 12 February, 2017.
► Admit Card for the GATE 2017 will available for Download from 05 Januaray, 2017(Thursday) from the Official Website of IIT Roorkee, as well as on the Zonal Offices.

Examinations for all the 23 papers will be conducted by an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidate is allowed to appear in ONLY ONE of the 23 papers for which GATE 2017 examination is being held. List of GATE Papers and the Paper Codes for GATE 2017 is given on the table:-

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the GATE-2017 Exam is as Follows:-
► GATE 2017 would contain questions of two different types : (i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and (ii) Numerical Answer Questions.
► In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks are in General Aptitude (GA).
