What is AIPMT:- The All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is an annual medical entrance examination in India.The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across the country. At present, 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal or other local authorities in India, except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir, are reserved for candidates who qualify this examination.

Eligibility Criteria:- CODE : 01 – A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th Standard in 2015 whose result is awaited, may apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of Counselling.

CODE : 02 – The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Age Limit : Candidates who have Age Between 17 to 25 Years, can fill the form of AIPMT. Age Limit for SC & ST Candidates is 30 Years.

Exam Fee & Mode of Payment:- A non-refundable application fee of Rs 1200/- + Bank Transaction Charges shall be paid by the candidate of General & OBC Category. SC/ ST, PWD, Candidates have to Pay Fee Rs. 650/-.

Candidates can Submit Fee Through any Debit/Credit Card using on-line gateway payment facility, or Depositing in CBSE Bank Account maintained by Syndicate Bank, State Bank Of India, ICICI Bank, or HDFC Bank directly by downloading the e-challan Form from the website of www.aipmt.nic.in.

How to Apply:- Application can only be made online. There is no paper application. Candidates paying fee through cash can fill online application only after 2 days of making payment. Candidates can submit their Applications on the website of AIPMT (http://aipmt.nic.in)
