Punjab State Power Corporation Limited hold a Written Exam in December, 2015 for Non Technical Posts. It should be known that PSPCL has earlier invited Online Application for the various 2397 Technical and Non-Technical Posts against Advertisement no. CRA 285/15 & CRA 286/15. Exam was conducted on various Dates in the month of December, 2015 & January, February, 2016.

Name of Posts : Notification CRA 285/15 & CRA 286/15 was out for the following Posts as:

Accounts Officer, Assistant Manager (HR), Medical Officer, Assistant Architecture, Revenue Accountant, UDC/ Accounts, UDC/ General Office Asst., LDC/ Cashier, Junior Engineer/ Elect., Aux. Plant Attendant, Junior Engineer/ Civil, Junior Engineer/ Sub Station, Electrician Grade-I, Technician Grade-I (Instrumentation), Technician Grade-II (Instrumentation), Technician Grade-I (Mechanical), Technician Grade-II (Mechanical), Junior Plant Attendant, Junior Plant Attendant (Chemical), Sub Station Attendant, Law Officer Gr. II & Internal Auditor.

From the above listed Posts, Exam for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Cashier & UDC General, Accounts was conducted under Phase I. Exam to be hold on 19, 20, 29 & 30 December, 2016. Exam to be held on 26, 27, 28 December was postponed. Exam for LDC/ Cashier/ UDC/ JE/ Planner was conducted from 09 to 24 January, 2016. Exam for other various Posts like Junior Engineer, Technician Grade II, Planner, Revenue Accountant was conducted on 20, 21, 28 February, 2016.

Result for the above said PSPCL LDC/ UDC Exam will be declared & Uploaded on the Official Website of PSPCL. Candidates will be able to check their Result in Career Section of Website. Result may take some time to publish so candidates need to have patience regarding LDC/ UDC Exam Result 2015.

Cut Off Marks : The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for General Category candidates is 50% and for Reserve Category candidates is 40%.

After Exam Process : The merit shall be prepared based on the marks secured in the written test. If two or more candidates secure same marks then their relative merit shall be determined by their age with higher age candidates shall be placed at higher merit. The candidates as per merit list shall be called for document checking for which the date shall be notified later and communication shall be sent through registered e-mail only. The offer of appointment for the number of posts advertised will be given to the successful candidates based on merit in the written test only provided the candidates are found eligible after checking of the documents relating to the various qualifications such as age, academic qualification, passing of Punjabi, experience certificate if any required and certificates in respect of reservation etc.
