No. & Name of Posts : Total 20000 Posts (Vacancies may increase or Decrease). Recruitment will be done for the following Posts named as :

• Assistant Station Master (ASM)
• Senior Clerk
• Accounts Clerk
• Goods Guard
• Traffic Apprentice
• ECRC
• Commercial Apprentice & other various Posts.

At Present, There are 1 Lac Vacancies in Indian Railways for various Posts. RRB’s made recruitment for ALP, JE, SSE in Regular Intervals but Recruitment on these Non technical Post had not been done. This Recruitment will be done under Non Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduates) famously known as NTPC UG Recruitment. Indian Railway has initiated the Process for Recruitment to these Posts.

SELECTION PROCESS : Railway has also changed the Selection Process to these Posts. Railway has ended the scheme of conducting Two exams. Earlier Railway conduct Screening Test, Mains Exam. But Now There will be only One Written Exam (conducted in Online Mode) & Then Proficiency Test. Candidates will be provided joining Directly based on their Marks in Exam.
