About Raj Forest Department : The Forest Department is responsible for the management of forests and wildlife in the state of Rajasthan. It implements three major acts- Rajasthan Forest Act 1953, Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 and Forest (Conservation) Act 1980. The various activities undertaken by the department include Forest Protection, Forest Development Works, Wildlife Management, Soil and Moisture Conservation Works, Forest Planning, Harvesting, Ecotourism activities, Research, Extension and Training.

Rajasthan Forest Department has organized Written Exam for Posts of Forest Guard & Forester. Exam was organized for TSP Area & Non TSP Area. So Candidates from All Over Rajasthan took part in the Exam.
Earlier Rajasthan Forest Department had invited Application from for recruitment to 1800 posts of Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) and 238 posts of Forester (Vanpal). A written test will be conducted very firstly for Vanrakshak & Vanpal post in the month of January, 2016.
Result for the above said Rajasthan Forest Guard Exam will be announced & Declared on its Official website. Candidates will also be intimated about Next Process on their Registered ID & Mobile No.
Rajasthan Forest Guard Cut Off Marks : Cut Off Marks for Forest Guard & Forester Online Exam will be purely based on No. of Vacancies, Total No. of Candidates & Level of Questions Papers after Normalization. Cut Off Marks will be announced from out of 100 Marks. There will be no sectional cut off for these Posts.
Shortlisted Candidates of Written Exam will be called up for Physical Test. Schedule for Physical Measurement, Walking & Physical Efficiency Test will be Notified in Due Course.
