Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is going to conduct 29th Bihar Judicial Service Competitive Exam for recruitment to the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division). Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. That’s why candidates are too scared and stressed about their preparation of the Examination Students facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Pre and Mains Exam conducting by Bihar PSC.
Preliminary Exam
Exam Pattern :- Scheme of Bihar PSC Civil Judge Pre Exam is given below :
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There shall be following two papers in exam :

  1. General Knowledge including current affairs
  2. Elementary General Science
  3. Law of Evidence & Procedure
  4. Constitutional and Administrative Law of India
  5. Hindi Law & Muhammadan Law
  6. Law of Transfer of Property and Principles of Equity, Law of Trusts and Specific Relief
  7. Law of Contracts & Torts
  8. Commercial Law
Main Written Exam
Exam Pattern :- BPSC Civil Judge Main Exam Pattern is as follows :
► The written test will be subjective type of total 1050 marks.
► There shall be 8(eight) papers in exam.
► Papers will based on 5 compulsory and 3 optional(choice from 5) subjects.
► There will also be an Interview of 100 marks.
Exam Syllabus :- Bihar PSC Civil Judge Mains Syllabus will be as follows :
Compulsory Subjects :
  1. General Knowledge including current affairs – 150 marks
  2. Elementary General Science – 100 marks
  3. General Hindi – 100 marks
  4. General English – 100 marks
  5. Law of Evidence & Procedure – 150 marks
Optional Subjects : any 3 of 5
  1. Constitutional and Administrative Law of India – 150 marks
  2. Hindi Law & Muhammadan Law – 150 marks
  3. Law of Transfer of Property and Principles of Equity, Law of Trusts and Specific Relief – 150 marks
  4. Law of Contracts & Torts – 150 marks
  5. Commercial Law – 150 marks
Note- Minimum qualifying marks in General Hindi and English paper shall be 30. Candidate will be consider ineligible for written test if he fails to obtain minimum qualifying marks in both paper. Obtained marks in General Hindi and English paper shall not be added in merit list.
