Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is going to conduct a written test for the recruitment of Jr. Stenographer, Stenographer, Upper Division Clerk(UDC), Senior Technician, and Technical Assistant (Lab). Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. So Candidates must be know that “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” for the best in their Exams. So, here we are providing the latest determined Syllabus & Exam Pattern of these posts exam conducting by BIS.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for written Exam is as Follows:-
► The written exam will be multiple choice objective type.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for written Exam is given below :-
Quantitative Aptitude : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
English Language : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.
Current Affairs : Questions are designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.
Technical Knowledge : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject/discipline concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules and related to the trade/profession under the several posts.
