Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites a competitive examination for recruitment to the Engineering services posts. UPSC will be held a Engineering Service Examination 2016. Interested candidates may apply for the entrance test. Other details are given below.

Detail of Exam : Total Vacancies : 602 Posts

Category I	Civil Engineering
Category II	Mechanical Engineering
Category III	Electrical Engineering
Category IV	Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Age Limit : A candidates for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st January 2016. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1986 and not later than 1st January 1995. The upper age limit of 30 years will be relax able up to 35 years in the case of government servants.

Educational Qualification :

1. Candidates must have obtained degree in engineering from a university incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or Other educational institutions establishment by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as university.

2. Passed section A and B of the institution section A and B of the Institution Examination of the Institution of engineering.

3. Candidates must be obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from a such foreign university college institution and under such condition as may be recognized by the government for the purpose from time to time.

4. passed graduate membership examination of the institute of electronics and telecommunication engineers.

5. passed associates membership examination parts II and III sections A and B Of The aeronautical society of India.

6. Passed Graduate membership Examination of the institution of electronics and radio engineers London held after November 1956.

Application Fee : Candidates (expecting female SC/ST/PH) candidates who are exempted form payment of fee) are required to pay a fee Of Rs 200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI State Bank Of Bikaner & Jaipur State bank. All female candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled caste/ scheduled tribes/physically handicapped categories are exempted form payment of application fee.
