About Allahabad University: The University of Allahabad, informally known also as Allahabad University is a public central university located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established on September 23, 1887, it is the fourth oldest University in India.

About UGAT: Under Graduate Admission Test is the entranced examination for the session 2016 –17 for admission to regular degree courses only B.A, B.Com, B.Sc (Maths), B.Sc (Bio), B.Sc (Home Science), BFA, BPE, B.Mus and B.S (GDS) of the university of Allahabad and its eight constituent colleges. This entrance examinations will be held at Allahabad, Bareilly, Delhi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur centers.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. An applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E /I.S.C. or an examination equivalent thereto is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Tests for B.A., B.S. (GDS), B.F.A., B.P.E., B.Mus.2. An applicant who has passed or appeared at the above examination with Science Group is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Maths & Biology group respectively).

3. The candidate who has passed or appeared in the above examination with Commerce stream or Science stream will be eligible for admission to B.Com.

4. For B.A. (Music)/B.Mus. applicants forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Music as one of the subject at Intermediate level or they have passed equivalent examination in Music from recognized Institution.

5. For BPE, the candidates must have appeared or passed in qualifying (Intermediate Level) Examination with minimum 40% Marks (relaxation for SC/ST as per rules). Candidate must not be more than 21 years old on 1st July of the academic session (2015-16) in the running year admission, these may be relaxed up to 25 years in case of qualified in service permanent teacher of physical education and SC/ST candidate. Candidate will be given credit for sports & NCC.

To 3.00 p.m. on cash payment ofRs 600/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs 300/- for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Physically Handicapped applicants.

Admit Card: Admit Card for all the valid applications received by the University will be processed and enabled on the website www.aupravesh.org. The Candidates can download their admit card from the website after entering their OMR Registration Number and date of birth and in case of Online Registration entering their Application ID and Date of Birth All Admit Cards will be uploaded for all the valid applications by May, 2016. University will not be sending any admit card by post or distribute them from the counters.

Result:

► The results of UGAT-2016 will be announced by 2nd week of June 2016. ► The results can be seen on the website www.aupravesh.org, local News-paper and Notice-board of Pravesh Bhawan.

Counseling & Admission Process: Admission will be made from Last week of June 2015 by the process of Counseling. The details of information regarding the counseling will be published in local newspaper, and will also available on website www.aupravesh.org and no inquiries in this regard will be entertained.

How to Apply : Candidates fill the application from below Procedure-

Online Mode Interested candidates may apply online for the entrance test. Other mode will not be accepted candidates may apply for the entrance test form the website ofwww.aupravesh.org Candidates fill the application correctly and complete. Online application starts form April 2016 to May 2016. Candidates have to upload scanned signature and scanned photo on the application form and submit the online application.
