About UKTECH: Uttarakhand Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttarakhand set up by the Government of Uttarakhand on January 27, 2005 through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005. It has 4 Constituent institutes (SIT Pithoragarh, THDC-IHET Tehri, WIT Dehradun, IT Gopeshwar) and approximately 125 affiliated Colleges spread all over the state, it offers courses in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management and Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
Engineering & Technology Lateral entry to II nd year	A) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institute with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. B) Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject
Pharmacy	Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
Pharmacy (B.Pharma. Lateral Entry 2nd Year	Passed Diploma examination in a Program from an AICTE approved Institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved catego ry) in appropriate Program.
Hotel Management & Catering Technology	Should have passed 10+2 examination. Obtained at least 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
MCA	Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level.Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
MCA : Lateral Entry to 2nd year	MCA – Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs. duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
MBA (1st Year)	Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
M. Pharm. (1st Year)	Bachelor in Pharmacy. Obtained at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
M.Tech. (1st Year)	Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) at the qualifying Examination.

 Application Fee: The Application fee is Rs. 1500/– for General/ OBC candidates and Rs 750/– for SC/ST candidates.
