UIIC AO Exam Syllabus 2016

United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC) will conduct an ONLINE Written exam for recruitment of Administrative Officer. As the year passes level of competition for banking & Insurance exam gets tougher. It is not the time for burning late night candles & take nothing in the exam. So for selection nothing can work for selection except a smart study plan. Prepare for exam differently than other candidates. In this article, we are providing you important topics from large syllabus for AO exam.

Exam Pattern :- Scheme of UIIC AO Exam will be as follows :

for Generalist –

► Online written exam for Generalist & Specialist will be consists of 200 marks.
► The duration of test will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► There will be penalty for wrong answers i.e. for every wrong answer, one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted from those obtained by the candidates.

Descriptive Test :-

► There will be 2 Questions from Essay writing/précis writing and Letter writing.
► Time Duration for Descriptive Test is 30 Minutes.

Exam Syllabus :- UIIC Administrative Officer Syllabus is given below :

Reasoning – Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

English Language – Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

Quantitative Aptitude – Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem on Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

General Awareness – Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.

Computer Awareness – Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.

Note – For specialist post questions will be asked from relevant discipline. So focus on the basic concepts of respective discipline of Finance, Civil Engineering, Legal, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Actuary.

Descriptive Test :- This Test will be of Qualifying Type. In descriptive test 02 questions will be ask from essay writing/précis writing and Letter writing. For descriptive test Focus on the Current News of Finance Sector, National Issues, Recent Government Scheme & Editorials from the leading English Newspaper like The Hindu.
