About MMMUT: The Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) is a Technical Residential University located in the city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1962,as Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, the college became affiliated with Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow, in 2000. It was granted the status of autonomous institute by the University Grants Commission in 2011. It became a university on 1 December 2013. But University started functioning from 17th December, 2013 after Prof(Dr.) Onkar Singh took over as the first Vice Chancellor of the University.

About Exam: Madan Mohan Malaviya University Of Technology conducted exams for different courses MMMUT exam was conducted on 17th May, 2015. Candidates are waiting for their counseling date. Candidates keep in touch with the MMMUT website for more updation regarding counseling date and other detail.
Counseling:
1. Counselling shall be carried out in order of merit of eligible candidates of Admission Test- 2016 based on their Combined Rank, even if they belong to reserved category at MMMUT, Gorakhpur. Advantage of their reserved category rank shall be provided at the time of allotment of seats depending upon their eligibility.
2. Counselling for offering admission shall be held in two steps namely Document Verification for verification of candidature and On Spot Seat Allotment’ for offer of admission. The counseling process shall be completed by the bonafide candidate himself, therefore the proxy is not allowed under any circumstances. The non appearance of the candidate as per his/her merit due to any reasons shall lead to the lapse of opportunity to opt seat as per merit for which the candidate himself/herself shall be solely responsible. University shall notify separate schedules of counseling for offering admission to B.Tech./MBA/MCA and M.Tech./PhD respectively on its website only.
Admission in B.Tech. M.B.A., M.C.A. courses offered in this University shall be granted based on the On-campus counselling in the University campus in which the candidate has to present himself/herself failing which the University shall not be responsible for the consequences. Document Verification: Verification of candidate’s original documents would be done during the counseling at the University as per schedule to be notified on University website www.mmmut.ac.in. The purpose of verification of documents would be to verify all relevant and essential certificates and documents of qualifying examination, eligibility, category/ reservation certificate and weight age. of the candidate as applicable. He/she is required to come with all original certificates and documents along with a self attested photocopy of each for submission. No candidate will be considered for admission if he/she does not show the original documents at the time of verification. The original certificates and documents will be returned to candidates after verification. However, the University reserves the right to cancel the candidature in case of any discrepancy found in the certificates and documents during verification.
Important Documents : Candidates are required to bring the following documents/certificates in original and a set consisting of attested photocopies of the certificates for verification and submission at the time of reporting/document verification.

(iii) Counselling letter
(iv) Mark sheet of qualifying exam.
(v) High School Certificate
(vi) Character Certificate
(vii) Certificate of Medical Fitness/Undertaking of Medical Fitness
(viii) Following certificates issued by designated authorities as per the format prescribed in in the Information Brochure of Admission Test-2015: (a) Domicile certificate, if applicable (b) Category certificate such as OBC/SC/ST, if applicable (c) Sub Category certificate (Freedom fighters/Armed forces/physically handicapped) whichever is applicable). (d) Income certificate(applicable for economically weaker only) (e) GDDA category certificate, if applicable (f) Rural weightage certificate, if applicable.
- Candidates are also required to bring demand draft of Rs 10000/- as part of the University fee for deposition along with the printed receipt generated at the time of registration for the counselling. Please bring the demand draft of Rs. 10,000/- (in favour of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur-273010 (U.P.)) as part of University fee. The candidates will not be allowed to participate in seat allotment without deposition of the demand draft of Rs 10000/- after successful verification.
The candidate shall have to deposit the remaining amount of the University fee within seven days of the day on which admission offer letter will be issued, failing which the seat allotment will be cancelled.
The seats falling vacant due to non-deposition of University fee, as applicable in stipulated period shall be filled in subsequent round of seat up-gradation/allotment on the basis of prefilled choices of candidates. If required, the University may notify the next round of counselling as per the procedure laid down by the University in the notification for such counselling. • The candidates can download their individual counselling letters from the University website after 9th June, 2016.
Admission Procedure: Admission will be based on purely entrance exam marks. Only shortlisted candidates may apply for admission Merit list will be uploaded on the website. Only Qualified candidates may call for the admission process.
