Applications are invited from married/unmarried MALE and unmarried FEMALE Engineering Graduates for Grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. Course commencing in April 2017 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Indian army invites application for 48TH SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION(TECH) MEN AND 19TH SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION(TECH) WOMEN COURSE.

Detail of Vacancies :

SSC (Technical) Men – 150 Posts
SSC (Technical) Women – 20 posts

Age Limit : 20 to 27 years as on 01 Apr 2017. (Candidates born between 02 Apr 1990 and 01 Apr 1997) (Both dates inclusive).

Pay Scale : Stipend During Training Period- Rs. 21000/- per month.   Please seeNotification for more  information about Pay Scale.

Educational Qualification : Candidates who have passed Engineering Degree or are studying in the final year examination of Engineering course are eligible to apply and should also be from recognized College/University of India.

Application Fee : All Candidates are Exempted from Fee.
