Ministry of Home Affairs has recently started recruitment for vacant post of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) in Intelligence Bureau (IB). Many of you will be ignorant about Selection Process. So, here we are providing the Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) Exam conducting by Ministry of Home Affairs.

Selection Process : There will be a Driving Test & Motor Mechanism Test for Security Assistant (Motor Transport). Total Selection Process will be of 100 Marks.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for IB Security Assistant (Motor Transport) is as Follows:

• There will be Driving Test of 50 Marks.
• There will be 50 Marks for Motor Mechanism.
• Merit List will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained out of 100.

Skill Test (Driving and motor mechanism) : The candidates would be required to drive a motor vehicle as directed by the instructor. Practical knowledge of the candidates about the vehicle and removal of minor defects/snags, in the vehicle, its upkeep and maintenance, etc would be tested.

IB Security Assistant (Exe) Syllabus

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for IB Security Assistant (Executive) written Exam is as Follows:

• Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
• Question paper consist of 100 Marks.
• The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages.
• There will also be a Local Language Test and Personality Test of 50 Marks each.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for MHA Security Assistant (Executive) written Exam is given below:-

General Knowledge : Questions will be asked from Indian and International Historical affairs, Inventions, Achievements, Wars and Movement. Focus will be Mainly on History, Geographical Topics, Political Activities.

Current Awareness : Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, General Science. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture.

Reasoning : Focus on Comprehensional Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and De-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions,  arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

General Arithmetic : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

English : Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
