Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’. The written test of Stenographer will be conducted in the month of July, 2016.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test Date → APRIL, 2017

SSC Steno Admit Card : Admission certificates (ACs) for the examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination will be issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of examination. If any candidate does not receive admission certificate for the examination one week before the date of examination, he/she must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub regional office of the commission with proof of having submitted his/her application (in case of applications submitted under certificate of posting, the date-stamp of the post-office concerned should be clearly legible). Failure to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.

Exam Pattern:- SSC Stenographer written exam will consist of one objective paper.

► There are total 3 parts in the written examination. Detailed information is given below:-

► Total time duration of the exam is 2 Hours and 2 hours 40 minutes for visually handicapped candidates. ► Question except in Part-III will be in both English & HindiLanguage. ► There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
