About RRB’s:- Railway Recruitment Control Board {रेलवे भर्ती नियंत्रण बोर्ड} is a government organization in India. It was set up in 1998 in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), New Delhi. Railway Recruitment Board is an organization of Government of India, which works for the appointment of new employees to work in Indian railways. Railway Recruitment boards have several boards working for it appoint new employees and they are situate in different parts of India.
About RRB Patna:- The Railway Service Commission, Patna was re-christen on 2/1/1985 as Railway Recruitment Board, Patna as per directive of Railway Board. In the year 1985, the other eventful mark in Railway Recruitment Board, Patna’s history was that its office shift to the Railway building in Mahendrughat on 31/7/1985. So, The Railway Recruitment Board, Patna has been functioning in the same building and discharging its responsibilities of making recruitment selections. For its present jurisdiction of Danapur, Mughalsarai, Dhanbad Divisions (East Central Railway) & Head Quarter of East Central Railway and Katihar Division (Northeast Frontier Railway).
