Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-07-2016, Relaxation in upper aqe Iimit: (I) Apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act 1961 -Actual period, subject to maximum Twelve months. (II) SC, ST & OBC (non-creamy layer) of Uttar Pradesh domicile -5 years (III) Dependents of freedom fighters-S years (IV) Physically handicapped (OA/OL) candidates (400% and above disability) -15 years. However maximum age of a candidate availing all relaxations shall not exceed 50 years.

Pay Scale : As per rules of UPPCL. Pay Band-3 ; Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- Dearness and other allowances admissible

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have sufficient knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri script).

(B) A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/ Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Civil from a University OR Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other Institution recognized by State Government or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government OR Part-A & B examinations conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India).

► Clarification Note:- candidates having degree through Distance Education programme are not eligible to apply for the above posts.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs 700/- For The SC/ST Candidates And Rs 1000/- For The Other Category Candidates. Candidates may pay there application fee through net banking online banking debit card credit card or candidates may submit there challan at any branch of state bank of India.
