Uttar Pradesh Power Corp. Ltd. has recruited various vacancies in Accountant cadre Group for the post of Assistant Accountant. UPPCL will be conducted a written exam for these posts. There are many candidates who have applied against this post so the candidate who applied for these posts are worried about the exam pattern and exam syllabus. Selection Process :- Selection Process is based on a written exam. But The candidate who qualified written exam that’s not mean that candidate will qualified the written exam. Exam Pattern is as follows ……

Written Exam Pattern :- There will be a written exam for the post of Assistant Accountant. The written exam is divided in two parts, that’s mean Paper –I & Paper-II.

• Paper-I :- In The Ist Paper Question is based DOEACC “O”on Computer Knowledge. The test will be carrying 50 Questions of total 50 marks. The exam is based on multiple choice objective type Pattern.
• Paper – II :- In the IInd paper Question is based on General English & General Hindi, Arithmetic, Accountancy, Auditing & Income Tax(Confirming to the Graduation Standard) .

Exam Syllabus :- The Exam Syllabus is a follows :-

General Hindi & General English :- Standard of questions will be Graduation Level. Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.

Arithmetic :- In This part questions is related with arithmetic, algebra and geometry.

Accountancy :- In this part questions is based on following chapters as follows…

1. Trading, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
2. Bills of Exchange.
3. Self balancing Ledger & Sectional balancing.
4. Capital & Revenue, Receipts & Payment, Income & Expenditure Accounts.
5. Depreciation, Reserve & Provision.
6. Branch & Departmental Account.
7. Double Accounts System.
8. Bank Reconciliation Statement.
9. Rectification of errors.
10. Balance-Sheet formats & Classification.

Auditing & Income Tax :- In this part questions is based on following chapters as follows…

1. Object Of Audit
2. Vouching and Verification
3. Rights, Duties and Liabilities of Auditors.
4. Income tax , Provisions Pertaining to Income from salary and provisions and related to chapter-VIth of Income Tax 1961.
5. Provision relating to TDS & Forms to be filled with Income Tax Department

Note :- There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong Answer. Marks will not be included in the Merit that gain in Compyter exam by the candidate.
