Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has conducted written exam with reference to Advertisement No. 12/VSA/2015/623.TG2 for recruitment of posts of Technician Grade II. At First Written exam was conducted on 24 June, 2016. Re Exam for these Posts was conducted on 16 October, 2016 then. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) had invited online applications for recruitment to 623 posts of Technician Grade 2 for Electrician trade.

Written Exam : This Technician Grade 2 Exam was of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Exam was conducted in two Parts i.e. Part 1 was of Qualifying Type. Marks of Part 2 will consider of Merit. In Part 2, There was composite paper containing 150 questions carrying 150 Marks. Questions were asked from General Hindi, General Studies, Reasoning & Technical Knowledge.

Cut Off Marks/ Merit List:- Cut Off Marks of the Written exam will depend on Level of Exam/ Question Paper & No. of Candidates appear for the written exam. UPPCL fully hold the right to set the cut off marks for Objective paper. Cut Off may vary according to Category. Official Cut Off Marks/ Merit List will Declare by UP Power Corporation.
