About University:- Chitkara University, Punjab is a Private University recognized  by University Grants Commission in India.  University campus is in Punjab. Chitkara University was founded by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act” in 2010. The University comes under the Establishment of Chitkara Educational Trust. It is based in Chandigarh and founded by Dr Ashok K Chitkara and Dr Madhu Chitkara in the year 1998. The University offers Undergraduate programs, Post-Graduate Program and Doctoral programs in various fields like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and other courses in Health sciences, Nursing etc.
