Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) had invited online applications for recruitment to 645 posts of Statistical Field Surveyor. A written test will be conducted for this post in upcoming dates.

OSSSC Exam Date :- 26.02.2017 (SUNDAY)

Admission letters, containing intimation about the date, time and venue for the written examination carrying the scanned photograph and signature of the eligible applicants and specimen signature of the Secretary of the Commission shall be uploaded on the Commission’s website well ahead of the date of the examination. Each eligible applicant shall have to download his/her admission letter before the date of examination by visiting the Commission’s website and clicking “Download Admission Letter” option under the Applicant Menu. The dates of examination shall be advertised in the local newspaper for information of the candidates. The Commission will not send any printed admission letter to any candidate through post.

Selection Process :

The total marks of the recruitment shall be 100. Out of the same, there shall be a Written Examination for 70 marks as detailed below. Of the rest 30 marks, 10 marks shall be awarded in proportion to percentage of marks secured without extra optional/s in 10th Standard and 20 marks in proportion to percentage of marks secured without extra optional/s in 10+2 Standard.

Exam Pattern :- Scheme of OSSSC Statistical Field Surveyor exam is as follows :

► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► A composite question paper will be of 70 marks.
► Time duration of test will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes).
► The standard of examination on Arithmetic and English shall be equivalent to that of 10th Standard.
