About University: – Amity University is a Constituent unit of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida. It is generally referred to as Amity University Uttar Pradesh (AUUP), Lucknow Campus. It is started functioning in 2004. The First director General of the Campus was Major General K Kohri, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, who joined the Campus on 19 July 04. The Campus was initially located at Viraj Khand area of Lucknow and shifted in stages during Year 2009-10 to the new campus at Gomti Nagar Extension (Near Malhour Railway Station), Lucknow.
