About JCECEB :- JCECEB Known as Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (P.E.C.E.).  Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually (depends upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand for the respective session.

By the PECE, Students can enroll themselves in the Jharkhand’s college Under the Course of Diploma In Engineering or Polytechnic. The polytechnic courses are offered of 3 years to 10thpass out students and 2 years to 12th pass out candidates in the Lateral entry.

Eligibility Criteria :- The Subject combination required in the Qualifying examination (high school examination of U.P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to the first year of Polytechnic shall be as follows :-

• Candidates should be 10 with the PCM subjects I.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Those candidates who have pursued 10+2 With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be considered for Lateral entry. They will be eligible to take direct Admission in the 2nd Year of the Polytechnic.

Application Fee :-

1.  For Gen/BC-i/BC-ii :-  650/–

2. For SC/ ST :-  325/-

Notes :-  Candidates can Pay Through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking or by Submitting Challan form in any branch of United Bank of India.
