UPTU Total Govt. Seats (Government & Govt. Aided Seat in AKTU / UPTU) =2738 Seats for B.Tech

UPTU Govt. College Self Finance Seats = 975 Seats of B.Tech

Private College Seats : 1.40 Lakh

As UPSEE 2016 Result has been announced. Regarding this Counseling for Admission in various Courses in UPTU will be started from 24 June, 2016. So Counseling will to be start between 24 June to 08 Aug 2016.

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow will Conduct UP State Entrance Exam (UPSEE 2016) Counseling (Counseling is Going to Start soon) for the candidates who have Qualified in UPSEE Entrance exam 2016 for take Admission in Graduate Courses (B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, BHMCT, B.FAD) and Post Graduate (MBA, MCA, MAM) Courses of UP Government & Private Colleges.

Counseling will be conducted at the Various centers in Uttar Pradesh. and Counseling Letters will also be Available for Downloading from UPSEE website. The students can download their Counseling Letter from Here Given below Download Link or also from following website (https://upsee.nic.in/default1.aspx OR http://www.uptu.ac.in/).

Counseling Procedure : Step by Step Procedure for UPSEE 2016 Counselling is given hereunder.

Step I- Documents Verification: The candidates shall be issued file cover along with a booklet of containing details of various colleges at the counseling center. Candidates original documents on academic qualifications and other credentials shall be verified at the counseling center.

Step II- Security Deposit for Seat Allotment (Rs. 20,000/- for GEN/ OBC & Rs. 12000/- for SC/ ST). The security (REFUNDABLE) shall be deposited by Demand Draft to be issued in favour of Finance Officer, UPTU, Lucknow Payable at City Branch of Verification/ Counseling Center.

Step III– Counseling of candidates:

Step IV- PIN (one time password) generation by NIC and communicating through SMS to candidates.

Step V- Filling of Choice of Course and institutes: Candidates be given two to three days time for choice filling. The candidate’s may fill as many colleges of their choice from their homes or any other convenient places having internet connection.

Step VI- Announcement of College Allotment: after the choice filling, the choices of candidates shall be processed and the announcement of college allotment shall made based upon their merit, reservations and choice priority.
