PMIDC Various Posts Exam Syllabus 2015

Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of various posts against Advt.No. DLG/RC/2015/1 dated 01.07.2015. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. So Candidates are stressed about their preparation in Examination to give their best. • Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
• The Duration of Test is 02:00 (Two) Hours (120 Minutes).
• The medium of test will be English (except questions of Punjabi).
• For every wrong answer, ¼th marks will be deducted.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for PMIDC Various Posts written Exam is given below :-

General English and Punjabi Language : Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.

General Knowledge/Awareness : History, Geography and Socio Economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.

Computer Knowledge : Computer Fundamentals, Windows (MS-Windows), MS-Office : Word Processing (MS-Word), Spread Sheet (MS-Excel), Presentation Knowledge (MS-Power Point), MS Access and Usage of Internet Services available on Internet, Communication Technology, Networking Concepts.

Mental ability, Aptitude, Numerical Ability : The syllabus of General Intelligence and Reasoning ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.

Post specific subject related questions : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules.
