WBSSC CGL Recruitment Exam Syllabus 2015
West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) is going to conduct Combined Graduate Level Exam 2014 named CGL 14 for recruitment to the posts of Inspector, Backward Classes Welfare, Minority Development Officer, Research Investigator and Fishery Extension Officer under West Bengal Junior Fishery Service.
Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. So Candidates must be know that “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” for the best in their Exams. Now, here we are providing the determined latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of CGL-Combined Graduate Level Exam conducting by WBSSC.
The Combined Graduate Level Recruitment will be conducted through the following three stages :
a) Preliminary Examination
b) Mains Examination
c) Interview
P R E L I M I N A R Y  E X A M I N A T I O N
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Combined Graduate Level Pre Examination is as Follows:-
► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be 135 questions in paper consist of 150 marks.
► The time duration will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes).

•• Candidates applied either for the post of Research Investigator or for Fishery Extension Officer or for both are to be shortlisted, Post-wise and Category/Sub Category wise, on the basis of marks secured by them in the Preliminary Examination and depending on thevacancy for the concerned post, for respective Category / Sub Category. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear directly in the Interview. There will be no separate Mains Examination for these two posts.
•• Whereas, Candidates applied either for the post of Inspector, Backward Classes Welfare or for Minority Development Officer or for both are to be shortlisted, Post-wise and Category / Sub Category wise, on the basis of marks secured by them in the Preliminary Examination and depending on the vacancy for the concerned post, for respective Category/Sub Category. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear in the Combined Graduate Level (Mains) Examination, 2014.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Combined Graduate Level Mains Examination is as Follows:-
► The written test will be descriptive (conventional) type.
► The test will consist of 100 Marks.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).

► The Scheme of Interview for the posts will be as the following :-
 For the Post of Inspector Backward Classes Welfare and/or Minority Development Officer, Candidates shortlisted on the basis of total marks obtained by them in Preliminary and Mains Examination will only be asked to appear in the Interview, to be conducted Post-wise.
 Whereas for the Post of Fishery Extension Officer and/or Research Investigator, Candidates shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained by them in Preliminary Examination will only be asked to appear in the Interview, to be conducted Post-wise.
