The organization is headed by the Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) exercising his overall command and superintendence from the Coast Guard Headquarters (CGHQ) located at New Delhi.  At CGHQ, he is assisted by four Deputy Director Generals of the rank of Inspector General, and other senior officers heading various staff divisions.

NOTE :

1. Call letters to provisionally selected candidates for Navik (GD) – 01/ 2017 batch will be issued Later. The enrollment will be subject to clearing the final medical examination to be conducted on arrival at INS Chilka.

The candidates are required to report to Recruiting officer, INS Chilka, post office – chilka, dist – Khurda, orissa – 752037 on Prescribed Dates

2. The candidates are required to intimate their willingness/unwillingness by speed post to their Zonal Recruitment Centres.
