About Nagaland Police :- The Nagaland Police is the law enforcement agency for the state of Nagaland in India. It comes under direct control of Department of Home Affairs, Government of Nagaland. The Police is headed by a Director General of Police (DGP), the present incumbent being Shri Besesayo Kezo, IPS. He belongs to the 1978 Batch of Assam-Meghalaya joint cadre and serving in Nagaland (His home state) on inter-cadre deputation. The Nagaland Police Headquarters is located at P. R. Hills, Kohima. The department is headed by the Director General of Police. Police Headquarters has different branches with uniform and civil staff catering to their respective subject matters. There are Esstt-I, Esstt-II, Esstt-III, M.T. branch, Accounts branch, Supply branch, Legal Cell, Crime branch, Pension branch, Modernization branch etc. with staffs headed by Office Superintendents.
