In 1973, Reserve Bank of India RBI directed Bank of Baroda, which is a premier nationalize bank, for managing the affairs of the Nainital Bank Limited. So, Bank is having 126 branches and operating in five states. which are Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. In April 2004, National Insurance Company (NIC) signed an agreement with Nainital Bank for distribution of its general insurance products through the bank’s branches across Uttarakhand, Haryana and New Delhi states. All branches of the Bank operates in CBS platform. Bank also provides RTGS, NEFT, SMS Alerts, ATM Card bearing RuPay and Mobile Banking facilities to its customers. So,The total business of the Bank was Rs. 8,050 crore as on 31st March, 2016.
