Applications are invited only through online mode up to 30.11.2016 for Direct Recruitment to the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) on temporary basis in Tamil Nadu Medical Service:

Detail of Vacancies : Assistant Surgeon :- 1233 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-

Educational Qualification : MBBS Degree with PG Diploma / PG Degree / Super Specialty Degree/DNB in the concerned Specialty.

Application Fee : Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) (i.e. including Cost of Registration and
Examination) be paid by all the candidates [excluding SC/SCA/ST/Differently Abled Persons (PH)]. SC/SCA/ST/ Differently Abled Persons (PH) have to pay Rs.375/- (Rupees Three Hundred and Seventy Five Only).

Selection Procedure : There will be Special Qualifying Examination for these posts. Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidate in the written examination, duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tamil Nadu.
