About Recruitment :-  Online application was invited for the post of Postman/Mailguard in Railway Mail service Division in KERALA. The total posts were 594. Many candidates applied for these posts and are waiting for written exam .

About exam :-  RMS Recruitment Department had announced its written exam Date earlier. The Written Examination will be held on 9-4-2017 . There are many exam centers have been allotted to conduct this written exam. All the candidates who have applied for these posts are doing hard Work. Exam Pattern :- The Written Exam would consist 100 Questions having 1 mark each. So aggregate and maximum marks would be 100. Maximum Time Duration will be two hours (120 Minutes). As there is no negative marking in exam so candidates should attend all Questions carefully. The Paper would have the questions according to their proportional educational standard as  written Exam Question paper will have the questions of matriculation Level. Exam Pattern can be understand by following Criteria:-

The Written Exam will comprise an Aptitude test comprising four Section. Each Section will have 25 Questions of 1 mark each. These Section will be as follows :-

1. General Knowledge
2. Mathematics
3. English
4. Malayalam

Syllabus :-  The syllabus of each section is giving below :-

General Knowledge :- Geography, Indian History, freedom Struggle, Culture & Sports, General Polity & Constitution of India, Economics, General Science, Current affairs & Reasoning and Analytical Ability of 10th Standard.

Mathematics :- Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals & Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work, Time and Distance, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration

English  :- Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms and Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, Proverbs, Phrases, questions from small passages Etc.

Malayalam :- Objective type/Multiple choice questions in MALYALAM language, MALYALAM Literature and MALYALAM Grammar Etc.
