CGTET :- Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET. The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.

Eligibility Criteria:

(a). Eligibility Criteria For  CGTET- I

Candidates must be Passed Higher Secondary With 50% Marks Or equivalent Or candidates must be 2 years diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Candidate must be passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 % marks and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education(by  whatever  name  known),  in  accordance  with  the  NCTE  (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation 2002.

OR

Candidates must be passed Higher Secondary with 50% marks Or candidates must be passed 04 years B.El.Ed.

OR

Candidate must be passed Senior Secondary  with at least 50 % marks and passed or  appearing  in  final  year  of two-year  Diploma  in  Education  (Special Education).

OR

Candidate must be graduate and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(b). Eligibility Criteria CGTET – II

Candidate must be Graduate and  passed or  Candidate must be two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Candidate must be Graduate with at least 50%  marks   and a one-year   Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

OR

Candidates must be passed Higher Secondary with 50% marks Or candidates must be passed 04 years B.El.Ed.

OR

Candidate must be passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and passed or appearing in final year of four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Candidate Must be Graduation with  at  least  50%  marks and  a  one year  B.Ed.  (Special Education).

Examination Pattern :- There  will  be  two  papers  of  the  Test.  Candidates  qualifying  the  first paper  will  be  eligible  for  teaching  in  classes  one  to  five.  In  the  same way, candidates qualifying the second paper will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8th. Each paper will be of two and a half hour duration and a total of 150 questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. There will be no negative marking on wrong answers. Subjects and marks for both the papers are as follows:

For Primary Level CGTET – I

 How To Apply :- Candidates may fill the application through the website of CG Vyapam. Candidates may fill the online application form through the website of www.cgvyam.gov.in. Candidate may fill the application correctly along with the relevant. Candidates have to upload scanned signature  and scanned photo on the application form and submit the online application. Online submission of application Last date to apply for the above posts is 23rdJune 2016 (Thursday) Eve 05:00 PM. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected.
