Age Limit: Must be within the prescribed age limit as on/be fore 31st December for January session and 30th June for July session respectively as detailed below:

For general category candidate	35 years
For SC/ST candidates, Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned Officer including ECO, SSCO who have rendered or released on satisfactory assignment (please attach proof as per Annexure	40 years
For OBC candidates (please attach proof as per Annexure)	38 years
For Deputed / Sponsored candidates	No limit

Eligibility Criteria:

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
DM/Mch	Must have passed the required MD/MS, or its equivalent qualification, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council.
MD/MS	Must have passed MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Must have either completed, or due to complete, one year rotator internship training on or before 31 st December/30 th June for January and July session respectively. Must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council
Medical	MBBS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS in the subject concerned or Diplomat of National Board of Examination. A Failure in the examination Compartment or Re-appear in the examination will constitute an attempt Candidates who have obtained MBBS/MD/MS degree from Medical Colleges which are not recognized by the Medical Council of India are not eligible to apply
Non Medical	The candidates who have passed M.Sc/MA or its equivalent/examination with at least 60 % marks in the subjects mentioned below: from the colleges/institutes recognized by the UGC/Panjab University are eligible
Life Science	A degree of Master of Sciences (M.Sc) or Master in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) or M.Sc. (Laboratory Technology) or M.Sc (Speech & Hearing) in subjects allied to Medical Sciences such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Human Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Life Sciences including Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Organic Chemistry, Anthropology & M.Sc (Human Genomics
Social Behavioural Science	The candidates with the following subjects a re eligible for Social Behavioural Sciences. Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Nursing, Nutrition, Child Development. MA/M.Sc/M.Phil in Health Promotion/Education, Health Management, Epidemiology, Environmental Health/Environmental Sciences and Public Health Nutrition/Applied Nutrition/Food & Nutrition, Health Economics/Applied Economics/Economics, Public Health/Community Health and MPH.Post graduation in Law LLM and its equivalent qualification OR Have qualified NET examination (with fellowship only) conducted by UGC, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examination conducted by ICMR/CSIR etc (within two years only). Attested copy of the result must be attached. If the candidate fails to produce the proof of his/her eligibility as per above qualification before one week of the entrance examination, candidature will not be considered an entire responsibility for the same will lie on the candidate.

Mode Of Payment: Candidates can go to any Branch of State Bank of India with the fee Payment Challan duly filled in and pay the prescribed Application Fee in the Power Jyoti PUL current account of PGIMER. The Challan form is required to be filled up in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Examination) in the Power Jyoti Account No. 32211613319 and those candidates who have SBI account can also pay their fee through i-collect service of SBI and I-collect Account No. is 32222954695.

How To Apply: Eligible Candidates are required to apply online through PGIMER Chandigarh website www.pgimer.edu.in. No other means / mode of application (through post, email, fax, deposit of CV ) will be accepted. Online application starts from March, 2016 .Firstly ensure that you have a valid personal email ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/her new email ID before applying Online. Candidates will be required to submit the following with application. Please keep them ready before you submit the application.
