MSPCL Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2015

Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) had invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Junior Establishment Assistant, Switch Board Assistant, Switch Board Junior Assistant, Junior Technical Assistant and Watchman cum Cleaning Assistant. MSPCL will adopt an appropriate selection process to complete this recruitment like written test, typing test (skill test) physical test (PET) and Interview/ personality Test etc. Here we will discussed about scheme of exam and syllabus for each aforementioned post test ducting by MSPCL.

S C H E M E  O F  E X A M I N A T I O N

For the post of Junior Establishment Assistant (JEA) :

1.	The objective type paper will be for 80 marks and will includes questions in General Knowledge & General English	Typing Speed test to be conducted for qualifying purpose only. Required qualifying net typing speed will be 30 w.p.m. for UR/OBC candidates and 25 w.p.m. for SC/ST/PH candidates	Qualified candidates will be called for Interview/ Personality Test which will carry 20 marks

For the post of Switch Board Assistant (SBA) :

1.	The objective type paper will be for 80 marks and will includes questions in General Knowledge, General English and basic Electrical Engineering Knowledge	Qualified candidates will be called for Interview/ Personality Test which will carry 20 marks

For the post of Switch Board Junior Assistant (SBJA), Junior Technical Assistant (JTA), Watchman cum Cleaning Assistant through a combined competitive examination :

The objective type paper will be for 80 marks and will includes questions in General Knowledge & General English	The PET will be qualifying in nature fro the post of Jr. Technical Assistant only and will be applicable only to those who have opted for the post of Jr. technical Assistant as one of their preferences. The qualifying standard will be : a) For male candidates : 1.6 KM race to be completed in not more than 7 minutes. b) For female candidates : 800m race to be completed in not more than 4.5 minutes i.e. 4 mins.30 sec.	Qualified candidates will be called for Interview/ Personality Test which will carry 20 marks

MPSCL Syllabus 2015 :

General Knowledge : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and Manipur. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.

General English : Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
